How small and medium-sized electroplating enterprises respond to new environmental emission standards

Time:2023-07-07 13:31Hits:303

The officially implemented "Emission Standard for Electroplating Pollutants" (hereinafter referred to as the new standard) has put forward higher environmental requirements for electroplating enterprises. How to respond to new emission standards has become a great challenge for electroplating enterprises, especially for small and medium-sized electroplating enterprises. The electroplating industry is an important processing industry and public welfare production technology with strong universality, wide applicability, cross industry, and cross department. The electroplating industry uses a large amount of strong acid, strong alkali, heavy metal solutions, as well as toxic and harmful chemicals such as chromic anhydride, cadmium, cyanide, etc., to discharge wastewater, exhaust gas, and waste residue during the process.

There are many small and medium-sized enterprises in the electroplating industry, which are not suitable for continuous treatment processes due to their small wastewater volume; At the same time, due to the fact that most of these electroplating enterprises use manual operations with low automation, inaccurate control during the water treatment process leads to unstable conditions, resulting in substandard effluent. After years of research and development, Zhejiang Zhimei Environmental technology Co., Ltd. has accumulated a lot of research achievements and engineering experience in the treatment and reuse of electroplating wastewater. At the time of the promulgation of the new standard, according to the requirements of the new standard, a series, automation, and complete set of batch treatment equipment CSBR for electroplating wastewater has been developed.

CSBR is composed of several parts, including a batch reactor system (CBR), a dosing system (CDS), an automated control system (EAC), a filtration system (FL), and a sludge dewatering system (SDW). Its characteristic is low investment cost, and using only one set of equipment can simultaneously treat different water qualities. High degree of automation overcomes the problems of unstable manual operation and high work intensity, making the effluent stable and up to standard. The PH/ORP control adopts the most advanced model free adaptive technology MFA in the United States, which ensures stable and reliable operation, saves reagents, and effectively reduces operating costs. Complete sets of equipment can be relocated as a whole, providing convenience for future changes or relocation of the factory site.

CSBR can be selected based on the actual situation of various small and medium-sized electroplating enterprises, with each batch of water treatment ranging from 10 tons to 30 tons. Can handle complex plating water quality.
